During
the first exam Dr. Neagu will do a thorough clinical examination
to determine if any tooth, jaw or growth problems
exist and what treatment is necessary, if any. All
the findings will be explained to you that day, including
the recommended treatment plan, estimated length of
treatment, and cost estimate.
The total cost depends on the
complexity of the case. The treatment plan coordinator
will check your insurance for benefits and will work
with you to find a payment plan that suits your budget.
Once you accept treatment, she will explain and schedule
your next appointments.
In some cases, treatment will
be needed only at a later date, when all permanent
teeth have erupted or when the growth of the child
has ceased. In these cases, the doctor will place
your child on a recall status and will continue to
observe him/her periodically, free-of-charge, until
he/she is ready to start treatment.

Before starting treatment,
all orthodontic records, a series of X-rays, molds
of your teeth, and face and intra-oral photos will
be taken. All the findings, treatment options, and
procedures will be thoroughly reviewed. Dr. Neagu
strives to minimize the need for removal of teeth.
She will tailor a plan that is specifically right
for your individual needs.
Once the treatment is started,
our orthodontic team will strive to provide the finest
customer care and communication possible in a friendly
and professional fashion so that all of us will feel
satisfied.
